Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada is an Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in several television series. Family members fled from Afghanistan, and tried to seek asylum in the US. Her birthplace was in the US. She is a middle-sister of two sisters and was raised within Northern Virginia. Ghanizada's career in the air started with several National Commercials. For the Laura Neri film A Kiss on the Nose (2004) Ghanizada portrayed the main character in Chiara a performance for which she won an award for best actress at a film festival nomination. Her television credits are How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars NUMB3RS The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Psych and Castle. Recent roles include the role of a supporting character for the character of Blood Shot, (2009) which is based on the science fiction movie Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada was first noticed in 2008 when she was a part of the crew of the General Hospital spin-off General Hospital. In season 2 called Night Shift Ghanizada played Dr. Saira Bhatra who is a holistic doctor. Ghanizada played Kelly who was the Prada Sales Girl in HBO Entourage during 2009, and was also cast in the pilot television Tough Trade by Weeds creator Jenji Kohn, and executive producer T Bone Burnett.
